Who are the parents of Levi Rice b 1814 - 1820 in Connecticut?

Question

Looking for the parents of Levi Rice, born about 1820 according to the 1850 Census (see below)

According to marriage records he was b 1814 at Barkhampsted m. Mary Ann Hack of Granby on Nov 16, 1842.

There is some evidence to suggest that the surname may appear as Royce in some records.  Donald Lines Jacobus, Families of Ancient New Haven, 1981. but i can't make a connection.

Any and all help appreciated.

Possible confusion issues.

From ancestry: Home in 1850: Sandisfield, Berkshire, Massachusetts

From family search Home in 1850: Granby, Hartford, Connecticut, United States

May pay to look at Census records and follow up with history of the area.  Both could be same place in different time.
