None of the data on the profile is sourced (without knowing what 'Rosalie's family history binder "White's".' contains), so it's not clear whether the following is relevant. ASSUMING birthplace Weymouth, Mass., is correct:

Thank you also for the answer you gave. The only source I had was a binder given to my folks before my Aunt died, and prior to personal "internet". Someone else source his son so I will go ahead and ask a question regarding him and also try to put the "profile link" in, as Lynda suggested and did for me, if I am able to figure that out correctly.

I will also look into the information you gave, and see what all I find there. Thank  you again.

I suggest you actually provide details of the info that you may have derived from the binder, even if it's reflected verbatim in the profile dates/places. That will help others determine the "quality" of the info, knowing the source is "Rosalie such-and-such. daughter of whomever" or similar.

That references a similar birth record to the one I posted, and you don't want to get things too complicated before a possible merge.

Thank you again. I looked at the "similar birth record" that you gave a "link" to. I also noticed that the site you told me about lets a person copy the link and that brings them right to the page. Nice and tidy for those like me that for some reason keep having trouble figuring out and doing references properly. (I have looked at how to and still get tangled up). I did look at the site you gave (at first it wanted me to "guest join", but then let me see the page you referred to. (It took me a while to figure that part out, but was do-able with some patience.

I will put what I know right now regarding my Aunt Rosalie, and then will add more (like a picture of her binder page after I dig it back out). Thank you.

Yes, it did seem to want me to join, but then let me search with the information you gave and let me search the rest of the "free databases and records" while I was there. Thank you! I spent several hours on there today. Very nice cause I could look at who was and wasn't related from their families and marriages and such.

Feel free to sign up for an account on Familysearch.com.    It is totally free and you won't be barraged with trying to sell you stuff you don't want.  They are a tremendous source of free censuses, some marriage and death records, etc.  Some of the pay sites may have more available but give free a try until you get your sea legs under you and need much more than you use to start.  If you are new to using familysearch,com here is a tip.  If you want to save the source to a profile and it isn't at the base of the list, go to the image and look below the image for a small white square with an arrow in it.  Press that and it will give you the source for whoever you have highlighted.  This is necessary for second (and more) person sources used from the same source list.

There is a whole line already on wikitree for Elisha and Ebenizer, Mathew, Ann  and Ezekial.  The birth year is listed as  1702, there is a difference.

It is under Elisha White-36922.  Don't make duplicates until this is checked out.  It appears some already have duplicates.  Also their father  Samuel White-5128.

O.K. I won't make any that I haven't already made. I will try to find those two that you mentioned but the only way I know how is to look up all the Elisha Whites on WikiTree and try to figure out if it is one of them by date. Is there no way to just enter the White-36922 and the White-5128?

O. K. I just noticed that the "numbers" for profiles are after the sentence on the lookups. I didn't get here yesterday to WikiTree, but I feel like I did. I need to "investigate" a whole lot more on this site. Thank  you.

Hello again. I just found the way to search by surname with number. I think I will write me a "cheat sheet" so I can find it again until it's "old hat" and no longer need a cheat sheet. I checked out the other "Samuel Whites" including the White-5128 and none are the same as mine. I think I got a clue as to who many of those are when I looked at the data base (earlier today) that Bruce Veazie directed me to. That site was wonderful as far as resources go. I was able to bring up all the Whites from the area of my family and compare them with mine along with their possible wives, husbands, parents, and children. (hours of gleaning). I understand White is a common name but I'm surprised there are so many Elishas.  Maybe some are duplicates.

The answer you gave (see below) is one I don't understand, since I'm not much of a genealogist. I don't understand what FHL micorfilm unknown means. Does it mean there is no source?

I have no idea what it means.  I just use the facts they present.  All the rest is how someone with more determination than I have would use to track down wherever the Mormons have it stored.
