An old and dear friend has dropped on me she was adpoted.

Question

After the best part of 52 years, probably my oldest friend today told me she is adopted. So I'm on a bit of a mission.
Her mothers name is Kathleen Adelaide Summers (could be a mispelling on the surname) and I'd appreciate anything we can find on this lady as it's been 58 years since she gave birth.

You're right but it appears that she passed away in 2007. Wayne appears to be from New South Wales, Australia so I'm assuming the identification is correct.
