Yes I am a Steele. Newton Steele was my great grandfather . His mother was Margeret and his father is Henry W Steele. My name is Kimberly Gordon and I had 23andme done. My roots are from Ireland ,Scotland and Africa. My great great grandfather Henry Steele was born in the Midwest and died in Cali. I have done intensive research on my family. Finding my Mother's, Fathers family was difficult due to Newton married a woman of color.

My mother just got her test results from ancestry.com. I am in the process of getting that data so I can load it up. I will follow up later after in big family reunion this fall. But we are all related to the Steele's from Maryland's Eastern Shore, specifically Dorchester County. The roots go back to Henry Steele who came to the Colonies from England in the early to mid 1700's.
