Bad name substitution in notables template when creating profile

Question

When Joe Wikitree creates a new profile for person Ned Notable, adding the {{Notables}} template to the "Notes" field, in the resultant biography, the template text says "Joe Wikitree is notable" instead of "Ned Notable is notable." This persists until any edit is made to the biography.

Nathan, Unless the Notables Project is the manager for the profile the Notables template should not be used but rather the Notables Sticker so this issue should not affect any new profiles in the first place.

It's happened to me while using the Notables Sticker, too. It only happens if you add the {{Notables}} or {{Notables Sticker}} at profile creation.

Nathan, if you edit the profile at all again, Joe WikiTree's name goes away. I thought it was only me! Anyway, it sounds like a little bug!

1. While I observed this with the {{Notables}} template, I assumed and Natalie observed that this in fact is a larger issue with name substitution in templates.

2. I do add the Notables Project as manager after creating notable profiles for living persons. I don't think privacy edits fix the bad substitution (other profile edits do).

These bad substitutions may cause some unintentional embarrassment, so it would be really good to fix this issue.
