Is this pre 1700 profile part of any project ?

After adding Source material to my 7x great grandfather's Pre 1700 profile, I was asked to post on G2G as a way to get a leader or volunteer from Pre 1700 projects to check and see if this Profile was a part of any current project.

The Profile is Masters-2160, if one of the Pre 1700 people could check this out I would be very grateful.

Cheers

It would help if you could tell us the place birth/death
I cannot see a project listed on his profile. Do you have a particular reason for thinking he may need to be project protected?
Lynda, I don't see that Geoff is seeking project *protection* for the profile but project engagement.

Geoff, there's a UK project.
There is an England project if he wants to join or bring the profile to their attention. However, I am wondering if he is just trying to make sense of the rather confusing banner message that comes up whenever you save a change to a pre-1700 profile.

Hi, Geoff!

I just added a couple more tags to have the England and UK Project leaders come take a look. Alternatively, you can take a look at their project pages and contact them first:

Both are great projects!
Hi Lynda,

That is exactly why I posted my message.  That banner poster reads as though I had to post, and ask the question as to whether his Profile was, or should be, a part of any project.  That is the only reason it is there.
Hi Julie,

I had a look at both and wrote in to express my interests, and now I await their reply.
I suspected it might be. Don’t worry about it. It is not compulsory to have your pre-1700 profiles in a project. I found that banner so confusing when I was new that it put me off posting pre-1700 profiles for a long time.
Hi Louis,

It's on the profile, I put his Profile name & Number up for that reason.

He was born in South Petherton, Somerset and he married and died in Pilton.Somerset.
Thanks ☺, Lets see what the British projects decide.
