I am confused on the death of Hannah (?), 1st wife of Mark Manlove. I have been working on this line since 1994. AND somewhere buried in the garage is a "A Land Certificate" Transcribed from another book, that Mark Manlove received for transporting 10 Person, naming his wife Hannah. It also says Hannah signed for it along with him in 28 February 1661. If that is true than Hannah could not have died in 1658/59 like it is listed here. I'm wondering if any one out there has the actual Land Certificate that Mark Manlove and his wife Hannah Signed on 28 February 1661. That would mean that Hannah died very soon after that. That also leaves the question of who George Manlove's real mother, if his Birth Date was 24 Sept 1660, if it has been transcribed correctly in my mind would make him Hannah's son, BUT he is not named on the Feb 1661 Land Certificate as one of the 10 transported to Northampton, VA. I think for DNA purposes, and paper work this is very important to know, don't you? I know Elizabeth Roberts give him a gift along with his brother John, but does that mean George was her Blood DNA John wasn't? She names her Daughter Ann Williams as her Natural Daughter in the Gift she gives, but she does not use that language in the gift to George. Another confusing date is George Manloves Birth date of 24 Sept 1660. If this date has been copied correctly than in my mind he is Hannah's son. Does anyone know where this date came from? I have not been able to find a actual document that gives this date for his birthday. These are Questions that I have. Cathi G.
