Extreme Monday Makeover!

EMM closes out the year with another challenge from the Unsourced Profiles category:

Mary Babcock, born 1672 in Westerly, Washington, Rhode Island, married Peter Crandall, and died in Westerly in 1718. And that's it from her profile. Can you help?

many thanks to Liz and Tom for their help.  Babcock-11 was rejected because her first name was Marcy.  There's only one more merge to go. Awaiting her reply.

I noticed that Babcock-159 was rejected.  She seem to me to be a match......
It was rejected because of all the wrong information she had submitted.  The Mary Babcock she had profiled was not the wife of said Peter Crandall.  The marriage date was wrong and there were no sources to prove her documentation.

I asked her for verification and recvd no reply. I even left a message for her on the bulletin board for Mary. No response.

Babcock-853 is a match, same husband.

Babcock-11 is open, could be a lowest number.

Babcock-187 is possibly a match

Babcock-84 has the same birth date and almost the same birth place.

Babcock-1154 and -54 are possibilities, too.

None add to the biography.  nor does Ancestry. com. other than husband b 1655 died 1734, son Peter b 1690, d 1734.

Add to that list, Babcock -159 and -160, both are listed as wives of Peter Crandall.
Tom - as always... THANKS SO MUCH!!

I've posted a message on Babcock-11 to try to see if she is the lowest.

Cheers, Liz
