Hugh McNair / Christina White

Question

I am Looking fo any infornation on Hugh McNair who maraide Christina White on 24 Jun 1839 at Gorbals, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. i have found the marage entry in church recotds but as ther was no date of births or parents names i could not get any further. i have hit that brickwall they had a son Donald McNair born 1941. Christina and Donald are on the 1941 Scottish Census Kiving in the Gorbals but no Mention of Hugh. i also think i found Christina and Donald in the 1851 censuc Christina is down as a widow.
