In the mid to late 1930s, there are several UK Electoral registers have Molly and Evelyn still living in that same area.  All the records I found were from the Hammersmith and Fulham area.

Name: Molly Elaine Cox
Year: 1938
County or Borough: Hammersmith and Fulham
Ward or Division/Constituency: Fulham East and West

There is a William Cox from the same area that died in 1916.  I was unable to find any other documents connecting them all together.  If this is your William Cox, this may explain that.

Thanks Val. I knew that my grandfather was William, unfortunately he and his brothers all died during the first world war either in battle or from the Flu epidemic so records are hard to find.

His birth date may help me to get further.

Thanks again,

Ian

The middle initial that Deb found on the marriage record pulled up a William E Cox in the same area, listed with his parents, on the 1901 England census.  This matches the date of birth for the one that passed during WWI in the same area.  Has two siblings listed, Robert E. Cox, the same age (twin?), and Letty A. Cox age 14.
