My G-Grandfather was Frederick Edward Field, and I would love to find out more on his bloodline. Any info would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Kelly you did not put what year. I did find Frederick Edward the son of Henry George and Sarah Ann baptised 1904 in Christchurch Kent. If this is your Frederick I have downloaded the 1911 census. He had 4sisters and 2 brothers.

He was born in 1888 to William Field and Louisa Webb. Unfortunately no further details on his parents.

Found him on the 1891 census siblings Bessie, Alice and Jesse. Married a Alice Maude Harlow if you need copies I can send them to you.

I just wonder if there are any ties to the famous baking family of Fields from Canterbury... I am busy assembling the family tree...  My grandfather was
George William Field Born 13 Apr 1901 - Canterbury, Kent, England - George was a long time police officer, member of the Kent Constabulary... His father William George was a baker and the business went back several generations in the baking business.  I am told the bakery was the official provider of bread to the Archbishop of Canterbury.

My GG Grandfather was William Edward Field born in 1863.
The 1901 census address is Artillery Gardens in Cantebury with 8 children namely:

Winifred
Arthur
Perhaps he was an uncle to your George William. I have no account of my TH Grandfathers occupation, neither do I have his parents details unfortunately.

As I work back, reviewing the research work of my brother and my own work, I am sure we may find some common elements or matches going back in time.   For example... an aunt Gwendoline was married to an Arthur Field, from a totally different Field family.   You have an Arthur too...  perhaps potentially a match.  Still working on my profiles... but when I get to Arthur I shall revert back to you...
