How to remove duplicates.

I need to remove Turvey1404 and Turvey1405

If they are duplicates, just merge the two duplicates together.

Even better, if you have other Turvey ancestors or children who are not yet entered into wikitree, just change the first names and the data so you can repurpose the profiles.

I'm not sure repurposing profiles is such a good idea. If there are any links - say in a narrative section - then a merge will automatically redirect to the new profile. However, if a profile has been repurposed it will point to the wrong file.

Less of a risk with new profiles, of course.

The idea is to avoid redirects whenever possible.  Apparently there is a concern about the underlying wikitree database as they build up over time.  I personally can't imagine it is that big a deal considering how many thousands of merges have occurred since wikitree started.

You would of course delete the entire narrative, along with the First Name and any dates.  The idea is to use the wikitree ID for an entirely new person.
