When you correct a suggestion it just disappears, so you won't see it again, hopefully.

it didn't work
Actually, suggestions only disappear off the report if you change their status (at least that's true in my experience).

To the far right of the suggestion itself you will see the word STATUS. Click on it and fill out the short form. IF you changed or updated something make sure you select Corrected. Doing so will immediately remove that suggestion from your suggestion list.

I tried all of the buttons it's not excepting any of them
Maybe your not signed in. Check to be sure your profile ID is in the box when you select the answer.

When you correct a suggestion, over on the right hand side of the suggestion is a tab called status. click that and when the box opens,  click the boxes that apply. there is one there that says hide.

This is also something you need to do for the tracker to count that profile in the tracker. It goes by suggestions in the proper category.

Don't forget that the suggestions report is updated once a week (usually Mondayish).  So although it may seem as though nothing is happening - you have to be patient and wait.

Hi Mary

I gather you were working on Joshua Lewis's profile

When you 'save' after you do changes - a big green 'Challenges Tracker' button appears at the top of the page - Click on that

It will take you to a list of Current Challenges and the 'Suggestions' for that profile (if there are any)

If you fix a Suggestion click on the 'Status' button on the far right

another page should pop up 'Suggestions Tracker'

on this page click on the 'dot' for what you have done

eg note or not corrected or corrected, or false or merge

(You can do extra stuff here to add additional text to the update - but I havent gone into it here)
then click 'update'

The suggestion doesnt go away straight away but is normaly hidden (from being listed) untill the recheck (which is done once a week)

does that help?

-------

There was actually still two problems with Joshua's profile

1 the <ref> </ref> tags need to be above the <references /> one, for them to be displayed

and 2 - you accidentally had one of the <'s as a > so it would still fail

I did a quick edit while I was there and have updated the suggestion
