It was about 1905. The youngest child is my grandmother, Willie Emma Eason. The father is Sam Eason and his wife is Minnie Marcella Tayman Eason. The oldest daughter, Estelle (standing) and Minnie both died of a fever shortly after this photo was taken. Sam died about 3 years after that so the three younger children were all orphaned. Thanks for sharing this picture of Samuel Eason. I am Deborah Kay Eason, daughter of Robert Junior Eason, who was from Wade, NC. His father was Charles Lewis (Buck) Eason, his father was George Washington Eason. I have done my ancestry on my Eason side from Cumberland County, NC, and I am sure Samuel falls in there some where. Thanks for sharing this picture of a past relative.
