Our goal for the Spring Clean-a-Thon is to clear out as many database suggestions as possible. To make it fun we're having teams and competing to see who can clear out the most.

It will be going for 72 hours straight, April 21-23. We're including Monday so that those who are busy on the weekend can still participate.

Just a reminder, Nor'Easters Concentrates on New England and the Canadian Maritimes, but we aren't restricted to it. Look over the current teams but keep us in mind. ;)

oops wrong spot, sorry
Yes I like to participate, with the Flying Dutchman.
I want to join the Canadian Cleanup Crew

If any team wants a custom tab for clean-a-thon, let me know. Nor'Easters will. Super Sweepers does. Bear in mind separate tabs but shared chat. I need email addresses for people to use the chat.

Hit me up at Tibbetts-150

Hi Eowyn, can we please have a timezone calculator on the Clean-A-Thon page? Last year I was unsure when I needed to start and finish (I think I ended up starting several hours too early)... maybe there was a timezone calculator last year, and I missed it! Actually, I see there is a link to a timezone map - thanks for that. If there is something really basic to follow for start and finish times for the major time zones, that would be wonderful.
Glenda, please be sure you reply as an answer so we can get your properly registered. Thanks!
Hi Glenda,

you have to post an "answer" not a "comment" so Eowyn can see your message and register you.
Sign me up with the Southern Super Sweepers
You have to go to the CURRENT one and ANSWER ( not comment) with the team you want
Geweldig Herman! :D

Go back to the top of the page and submit your request as an answer and Dorothy will get you on our team.

What part of Texas are you from? People that aren't from Texas don't really understand that question..."The sun has risen and the sun has set and here I am in Texas yet." Only place I know that take 2 days to drive across it.  lol

It will be great to have to have another Texan on our team!

This looks like an interesting activity, although nothing quite touches my area  of work yet. I am mostly concentrated on southern Germany in the 18th and 19th centuries, and I would be more than happy to lend a hand with anything touching on that.
answered by Gus Gassmann G2G6 (8k points)
You are welcome to join the Merry Moppers. We don't work on anything specific.
Thanks, Gus! You've got the badge now.
The Dust Busters are able to either pick a particular error to work on or work on their own watchlist, whichever each person wants to do.  We'd love to have you on our team!
Also Team Tennessee Volunteers would love to have you on their team. They are wonderful people to work with.

Gus, If you haven't chosen a team yet, please consider Anywherers either team  I or II.

Our members choose Anywhere/Anywhen to work. Our team is divided on this g2g post

That weekend is already booked. In addition to that the Monday is my brother's 4th birthday, and I have class both the Monday and Tuesday. Priorities.
answered by Richard Shelley G2G6 Pilot (108k points)
You're excused, Richard. Thanks.

So 4th birthday or 40th birthday for your brother?
Er, I have an unlisted profile listed as my sibling.

If it was a 40th birthday then I would have had an error on one of the two profiles regarding the year of birth of either brother and also the year of birth of both my mother and also the father of which brother it is. But I don't.
OK so it is a 4th birthday. OK Thanks Richard. And sorry for being so rude as to ask.

I'm in! I don't remember what group I was with last time. My emphasis is mainly in the Southeast US, especially Georgia, so wherever is a good fit is where I'll go!

I'll participate. Not sure what teams there will be, but since I do most of my research in New England (Vermont/Mass) and Canada (New Brunswick/PEI) I guess Nor'Easters would be the appropriate one.
