Recently a relative told me that my extended family all believes my g grandma was adopted.i I believe they got this idea because she was dark toned and they used to tease her that gypsies left her on their doorstep. I see a family resemblance however and I do not believe she was adopted. So I'm looking for anything that would show if she was born to her parents or adopted. Vivian Alida Berg (Geinsenhoff) born Sept. 22, 1902 Borgholm Township/Bock Minnesota. Parents John)Jahn Berg (sweden) & Minnie (Simonsen or simonson?) Berg (Norway). Any help would be appreciated.

You could start by looking for her birth certificate , and also sometimes, such private information will be recorded wherever she was christened ( adopted or biological ) so I would look for the churches in that area where they lived for a record.
