Hi,

I've just joined WikiTree so here's my 'hello!' as well :)

Before I really confirm my ancestor's place of birth I was hoping I could have a consensus on where she was born.

Here's the uploaded birth certificate: https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Keen-1030

In the past I've used 'near Church, Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire, England', but I'm having second thoughts about 'near'.

Many thanks,

Tamara

I wouldn't use the "near".  It's an approximation which gives one more information but doesn't actually belong in the birth place (and it will generate a suggestion that there is a wrong word in the birth place).  You should definitely use the information in the profile as part of the biography or as separate === Birth Notes ===.

Thank you for confirming with such great documentation!

And, Welcome to WikiTree.  You'll just love it here.

Thank you!

I am absolutely loving being here.  It suits my wanting to share my research widely (and freely), being able to collaborate (who wants to reinvent the wheel if you don't have to), the style guidelines match my wanting to present my research impeccably and the emphasis on sources suits my background.

I think I've found 'my people' :)
