Brickland-2 has a badge... Kiwi Crew - did you catch that?

Yes, I'd like to participates again this year and I'd love to

join the Nor'Easters. Lets make this a great 2 days. Thank you !
Alice, please make that an ANSWER instead of a comment. And could you either be logged in or put your wikitree-ID in?

Thanks. I'll be watching for it. (and it's 3 days btw)
Yes, Nor'Easter Everson-407
Yes, I would like to  participate in the 2018 Spring Clean A Thon

Everson-407
halfway there Alice... Comments are just comments, but Answers are how one registers for the Clean-a-Thon. So if you'll post an Answer, I can get you badged. (Scroll up to just above the Nor'easters' humongous picture of a wave crashing against the shore & look for clickable "answer" that's just above that posting & below Eowyn's name. Click that "answer" link to get the window you need to post an answer.

Cheers, Liz
I would like to participate in the Spring-Clean-a-Thon as a member of the Tidy Tornadoes.

Deena, you have to put your response into answer instead of a comment. Once you do that I can officially welcome you to the team =)

The registration is here (https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/591340/will-you-participate-in-our-2018-spring-clean-a-thon-current) now.

by Eowyn Walker G2G Astronaut (2.4m points)
Yes, Tidying Tornadoes is my team. April 21-23 is not a good weekend for me (conflicts), but I'll try to catch up and contribute on Monday.
First hands off Paul he’s Tidying Tornadoes lol. Second I asked first hehe.
Team Tennessee Volunteers is the best team you should go with us.
Hands off Paul everyone. He’s been a Tornado since day one =D
But Eowyn wasn't. And the first one to ask HERE and the first one to ask HER might be 2 completely different things. ;)

Hope I'm doing the right. Yes, I'd like to participate. I would like to join the Merry Moppers. Not sure how much help I will be, but willing to give it a try. Not available on 4/22/2018 will be out of town.

Sarah,   Go to the top of the page and put your name down with a click on ANSWER.  We'd love to have you join us.   ( Located under Eowyn's points.)
Yes i want to participate in the Spring a thon clean up

I will go to any group!
And again. Kathy Tomcik you need to ANSWER, not comment. And if you are not logged in, we will need your WikiTree-ID. (Listisen-1) This is to get your badge and be registered. You also need to pick a team from the list. Like Nor'Easters maybe?
Well Ewoyn have you decided what team you are going with. Also Team Tennessee Volunteers would love to have you on their team. They are wonderful people to work with.

Thanks for joining Elizabeth - I just awarded you this year's Clean-a-Thon badge.

Cheers, Liz
Happy your back Elizabeth!

Hi Elizabeth

Welcome aboard!  Please let us know on the Dust Busters Space page what area you plan to work on when you have a moment.  Thanks.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Dust_Busters

is the page URL.

We look forward to working with you to clean up as many profiles as possible, recalling that Quality is our #1 priority and Quantity is only #2.

Best wishes

Chet Snow - 2018 Co Captain

I'm so glad to be part of this group again. I'll probably concentrate on profiles in Maine and New Brunswick.
Hello

Glad to have you with us this time.  Do you have a WikiTree ID ?  If you do not wish that on a G2G posting, please send me a Private Message to Snow-2128 and I can add you to the Team roster.

On this team, each member decides which area of the "Data-base Errors" project they want to work on so yes, Maine and New Brunswick, fits just fine - lots of "dust" out there no matter what is your primary genealogical interest!

Best wishes

Chet Snow-2128
I'm going to be fighting you for Maine. Not sure if another of the Nor'Easters will do New Brunswick. :P

As you are a Data Doctor, Steve, I am sure you know that there are more than enough errors on WikiTree profiles even from the great state of Maine for several members to work on them simultaneously during the Clean A Thon!

Our Dust Busters team is "Liberty Hall" as per A Bertram Chandler:
""Come In. This is Liberty Hall; you can spit on the mat and call the cat a bastard!"..."

Welcome one; welcome all!

Chet Snow-2128

Count me in Tidying Tornadoes and:

I have been informed by a DNA follower that my ancestors the Warren's of Stockport cannot be descended from the Plantagenets and the New England Warrens have a well documented descent from the 2nd son Reginald de Warrenne-42 of William II De Warrene-25, 2nd Earl of Surrey. I would like to correct this but I do not believe I have the proper authority to make these changes to the Warren's of Stockport line
by Paul Evans G2G2 (2.9k points)

Welcome back to the team Paul!! I’ll add your name to the team page in a little bit. Our team chat is here if you have any questions, run into any interesting things during the CAT you want to share or just even to talk about nothing.

Thanks for registering for the Clean-a-Thon Paul! You know have the badge in addition to a team :D

Read this two sites it should help you. I would like to have your email so I can make you a profile manager also.

Also here is my team spreadsheet link."I have the DBE ErroList TN linked to the spreadsheet tab named Team Ten as the URL is listed just click on that and you will see the list. Also down below the list is your name and you can choose what color you want and color the cell that your name is in." To be able to use the spreadsheet tab for Team Tennessee Volunteers click on the instructions first to see how to use it and the click the other down here:

https://tinyurl.com/TeamTenn

https://prnt.sc/hk72jy -instructions how to use spreadsheet for TeamTenn

You need to read and study the instructions to the spreadsheet tab very carefully before the clean-a-thon.

Every one if you did what Holly Battle did is all you need to do till the Spring Clean-a-thon starts. But you will use that color that you chose when the Spring Clean-a-Thon starts. I will direct all of you on how to do it then.

You now have the Spring Clean-a-Thon 2018 badge - thanks for joining!

I'm willing to help with the Clean-a-thon later this month as part of the Kiwi Crew since I'm a Kiwi.

I would very much like to know beforehand the exact start and finish times and dates as it relates to us over here.  Last year I kept wasting time at the finish by repeatedly checking how much time we still had left. I probably missed out on getting at least a couple of entries properly saved and tallied simply because I was over-tired and pressured at the time!
by Norma Crozier G2G6 Mach 1 (16.2k points)

You now have the Spring Clean-a-Thon 2018 badge - thanks for joining!

See this page for details... I forget whether start time is 12:01 or midnight, but it's whenever Saturday begins Eastern Time, USA (and ends either 11:59 or midnight the end of Monday). I use http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html to figure out times elsewhere, but sometimes use one of these instead:

oops - "this page" needed a link: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Spring_Clean-a-Thon

& that page says start is 12:01 & end is midnight (Eastern time):

We're starting Saturday morning at 12:01 EDT (GMT -4), April 21.

The event runs until Monday at midnight EDT, April 23.

We have these set times so that Wiki Genealogists from all over the world will be participating together, at the same time.

Here is a time zone calculator if you need help figuring out the right time in your part of the world.

Norma - the clean-a-thon starts at 4 pm Saturday 21st and ends at 4 pm on the Tuesday 24th of April - in NZ. Those are the EXACT TIMES and DATES for New Zealand!!

Do you still want to join the Kiwi crew?

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:The_Kiwi_Crew
Thanks, Liz!  Those time calculators are nifty little beasties, aren't they?  I'll keep one tab on my browser showing one of these as a double check that everything's saved & tagged well before the final few minutes!
Yes, please, I'll join the Kiwi Crew again. Thanks!
Thanks Norma, you are on the team.

Hello! This sounds very interesting and I would love to participate. As for a team I'm not entirely sure. I would like it to be Irish related if possible.
by Anonymous Dooley G2G1 (1.2k points)

Hi Casey,

You are welcome to join Anywherers. We work anywhere/anywhen. You can choose to work wherever you like in any time period.

Here's a list of the teams.

Team Tennessee Volunteers would like for you to join us. We are a great team to work with.
Team GB Gen is probably the closest to doing Ireland. Nor'Easters CAN do anywhere but we concentrate on New England and the Canadian Maritimes.
You now have the Spring Clean-a-Thon 2018 badge - thanks for joining! (I also posted to your profile page with additional information.)

Cheers, Liz
Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Man of Isle are under the umbrella of Jodi (Trogstad) Brennan correct? Then Any-wherers will be my category since they are not listed on the others. :)
This sounds great to me! How do I join?
Casey,  Go to the article (above) about joining.  At the bottom, below Eowyn's points, there is a choice to ANSWER.  Click on that and designate a team if you have one in mind.  We would welcome you on Merry Moppers laid back group if you are interested in fun, not large numbers.

Hi! Casey - you've already registered (answered posted an answer). If you post a comment as to which team you'd like to join, the team leader will be in touch. Or you can see if there's a link to a team page or G2G chat in the list of teams [here].

Jodi - I think that Beulah's instructions about how to register (posting an answer to this G2G thread) was meant for you rather than Casey. In order to register for the Clean-a-Thon, you need to have your own answer (instead of a comment or reply under someone else's). When you post your answer, say which team you'd like to join.

Cheers, Liz
"Did my post go off into odd-land?" I thought I was signing up with the 'Anywherers' and wanted to include a couple of areas that are associated with my family, yet had not seemed to be included. "Where do I go from here to get in the right group?"
I tried to comment on Casey's "How do I join" question.  Jodi had already
indicated a choice.  I didn't look to see if she was registered.  And as you can see, I hadn't checked on Casey's registration, already done, answer.
Jodi, it looks like you need to go up and ANSWER with your name (under the choices just below Eowyn's points).

Jodi,

Thank you for choosing Anywherers. Please log into WikiTree and make Anywherers your team choice by answering the question at the top of this page. You will be awarded your badge.

Then join the team chat page.

Guess she will be snagging the stuff from the Spic-n-Span Scandanavians huh?
Who are you talking about Steven by guess she will be snagging the stuff from the Spic-n-Span Scandanavians and what do you mean by that also.
