This profile looks quite confused. The bio appears to be for the father but Patrick is not listed as son in the list of children. There are no pre-1700 Sources and there appears to be an unmerged match with a Patrick II who is attached as son. Can anyone help with this please? Thanks so much!!

Is there also an error in the birthplace? Ireland vs one of the German states?
It looks like this may be a bad merge. I think there is an assumption this is an Irish name but I am not so sure. I don’t really have any sources to prove the origin. I’m not thinking it’s German though.
Haven't checked; could well be one of the many Irish settled  in Germany or Austria in this period -

Thanks Eddie! What do you think of the connection to Patrick?
Patrick’s profile is clearly the result of a bad merge. He has two children (clearly not his) born in Pennsylvania and one born in Virginia. I will figure out which of Hans’ kids was merged away and fix it.

Found something. Trying to locate actual image

Yay!!!! You are a super researcher!!! Thanks so much!!!!
I figured out the bad merge. A former member merged Patrick into Hans. It will take awhile to straighten out and I put a warning sign on all involved profiles and rejected a proposed merge with Patrick until I get them all separated.
