make a change, allowing a separate screen to open for "Private Messages"

Question

When I click on a profile for a person I am interested in, and want to send a Private Message to the contributor, the message screen replaces the profile screen, rather than opening in a separate window.  Then I am not able to view the profile screen while writing my message.  I know this can be changed by the webpage techs

I've had that problem, too, so now I just open two screens and minimize them so I have access to both. It's a little more hassle, but works fine.
