Who are the parents of Dan Smith? Born 4 July 1877, Mclaurin, MS

I'm trying to prove who the parents of Dan Smith are.  The1937 SS application says the parents are Dan N Smith  and Betty Breather.( I think the last name was Breland) I noticed the Brelands are neighbors of the Smiths in Mississippi.. Dan was born July 4, 1877 McLaurin, MS. Dan and Elizabeth had a son Dan born in July 1877.  .Asa and Abolsom Breland both had daughters (Elizabeth) about the right age.  The grandparents of Dan Smith would be John Smith and Delilah Dennis Smith.  My Dan Smith was married to Ruby Cox 1927 in Florida and had 3 children.  Lillian, Lavon Edward and Myrtle Smith are the children.  Dan Smith died Dec 5 1940 in Florida. The 1937 SS said Dan was working on the WPA Belle Glade, Florida.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

You've probably already seen this. The mother's name is very difficult to make out, but appears to say Breaden or Brealen? I hope this helps.

Yes, I put the dc on line.  I have since found out mother's name is Elizabeth Breland.
