I would have to ask my cousin, she might know. Roy has children still alive, I will get hold of them & see if they know. They live in Texas. Roy was my 1st cousin.

They said no. President Kennedy had been making other trips to Texas because his re-election was nearing & he needed Texas's vote. They said Roy had several assignments protecting the President when he came to Texas and he loved it. He said President Kennedy ventured all over the place and he was hard to keep up with.
