Has anyone traced the Stanley's of Botetourt County thru the 1800's?

Question

I've just begun my search, but I printed a copy of the 1940 census as a start.  My grandparents lived in Botetourt then.  His name is Jesse L. Stanley and my grandmother was Hannah.  Jesse was born in 1889 in Virginia and she was born in 1890 in West Virginia, but her family came to America from England just prior to that time.

Jessie Levi Stanley, born 15 Feb 1898, died 18 June 1988, married to Dorothy Woodson.

Looks like the data for Jesse Luther Stanley needs a little work, but here's what is on WikiTree right now:

For some reason his LNAB was entered as Bryant rather than Stanley, but I'll see if I can get in touch with the PM and we'll get this line back in shape and moving again!
