Ancestry of Tyler Pope ?

Question

I'm at a roadblock with a possible family tree connection. The subject is Tyler Pope (1824-1913) who came from the US and lived in Sawyerville, Quebec, Canada, and raised a family there. I have his children's information but need his parents. He returned to Lowell, Vermont with some family members and died there. He was on the Vermont census  list in 1900.  His spouse was Mary Jordon (born 1834) Any help with his ancestry would be greatly appreciated. I've tried most everything but to no avail. Hoping for a fresh starting point! Thanks

born in Canada,Living with Walter Pope.

I had this info. but thank -you just the same. The Walter he lived with was more than likely his son, Walter Pope, who himself was living in Lowell with his family. Tyler's father I am quite sure was dead in 1900. It is Tyler's father I am searching for. Thanks again
