how to merge

Hello to all,

As a new member, I'm working on the Irish-Roots Project, since I'm adding to my tree with Irish immigrants.

I've recently freaked out on how to merge and after asking for help, I forged ahead to conqour my fears. The fear was of course, not to mess up our global tree of WikiTree.  Praying I did good.

Welcome to WikiTree, Patty! Looking at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Windle-403 (your first merge?) I see one more step you need to take.

Look at the text section of the profile and you'll see that the merge resulting in duplication of text that was in both profiles. You'll need to remove the duplication manually.

And then all you need is sources! (Please don't forget to add sources!)
