How can a refused merging be challenged

I don't know who rejected the match for Pelletier-128 and Pelletier-129 but when looking at both profiles, the only difference is the year of birth and  this can only be an approximate.

How can such decision be reviewed ?
WikiTree profile: Marie Pelletier

....they appear as sisters, one baptised in March and the second one baptised in February of the next year, eleven months later.  The person that rejected the merge was the person that created the profiles.  I would leave that one alone.
Agree with Vincent. Each child has an exact baptism date, so these are siblings not duplicate profiles.
I want to thank all who took time to answer my plea.  When I asked the question, I assumed one of the two Marie did not exist because I had found the birth record for Marie 1 borne 1598 but not that of Marie 2 borne 1599.

However, further research brought me to Nicolas, the brother and Fichier Origine did list Marie 2 with a ref. for birth record; although I still cannot put my hands or eyes on such record, I am happy to accept that Marie 2 existed.

It would be nice to include the reasoning behind acceptance or refusal of a match on the profile until such profile has proof of all basics.

Anyway - Thank you all !

I suppose you could email the person.

Hey Michele,

I would message the profile manager, because the manager now isn't the one that initially rejected the merge and maybe they haven't realized that they are probably the same person.

Good luck!

Vincent and Patricia gave you some good comments. Assuming you agree with their analysis, go back to the profiles and make a note about the similarities so others don't try to merge these in the future. I’ve had several cases where children with similar names can be confused so I do try to note those similarities.

It will also help to add some sources so the unsourced profile tag can be removed.
