I have a number of Irish ancestors and was wondering if other members would be interested in a Irish project not just on Irish Clans but anything Irish   Terry

The Project has now gone live and can be found at:

Terry, on the project page Marianne Campbell is listed as being interested in an Irish Clans project.

Thanks Eowyn I left a message on  Mariannes profile page to see if she is still interested
Awesome, I shared the link to this thread on our social media so maybe we'll generate some good interest!

Thanks Eowyn yes

I and my husband both have Irish ancestry and so I would be interested
Thats great Kerrie if we can get enough members i will let you know when we start the project Terry
I'm glad to see you're getting some good interest on this! As soon as you've got a few members and know what you want the name of the project and the G2G tag to be, let me know and I'll start getting things set up.
Thanks Lianne I will let you know when we have more members intrested
I would be interested, probably more as alrne than a participant.  I am still srting out whoseIrish and who is Scottish n myhuband's and my lines.  That being said i there isroom for an observer  am in.

Yes! I've been hoping there'd be someone interested in that.  It would be a great sister project to the Scottish Clans.

You know you can count on me asw ell, I have just as many Irish ancestors as Scottish ones, that is - none proven. That does not stop me furtling around in the history.

I have added Irish Name Studies as a Category under One Name Studies. I have begun indexing my Irish Families there. I have also added a subcategory County Cork Name Studies for names I want to trace only in County Cork.

Hello, I am very interested to learn about Irish clans, it's alway fascinated me to know that my ancestors before me may have been part of a clan . It always seemed so mystical to me to know there might be an actual Irish Clan that I belong to based on my ancestors and the blood that runs through my veins. I feel a part of something so much greater than myself simply because I could be a part of a clan could have been around for centuries. It gives me a kind of calming feeling within myself whenever i wonder about the possibilities. Thank you for your time and consideration. Melody Loudermilk

Hi Melody,   I was about to ask you if you'd like to join the Irish Roots Project but I see from your profile that you are a guest member.    You need to volunteer to help grow our wonderful WikiTree to take your membership forward to the next level.  See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Member_Types for more info.
