One of my great grandmother's was called Emily Ireson Foot and she married a George Booth RN sometime in the late 1890s (I think). She had three children, George Thomas (lost at sea 1914 during WW1), Fredric Ireson (my grandfather, died 1964) and Doris Maud (my great aunt who died a spinster in 1990). I'm working on the basis that this is the same Emily Ireson Foot, from Guernsey, as listed on WikiTree. She is listed in the 1901 census with husband George, son George Thomas and son Frederic Ireson, and in the 1911 census as head of the household and a widow, George Thomas was at the Royal Hospital Naval School so not listed but Frederic and Doris are listed.
Any additional info on Emily's family would be appreciated, if anyone has anything on her husband George Booth that would be great. It's possible he served on HMS Sappho as a warrant officer, possibly courtmartialed in 1909. Rumoured to have committed suicide possibly about this time.
