Since Dr. John Rodman m. to Mary Scammon is my 7th great grandfather, why doesn't my dna flow up and thus show on this profile(Rodman-121)????

My dna does flow up to his grandson Dr. John (Rodman-119).

Wikitree cuts off the propagation the generation before that. At so many degrees of separation the possibility of significant segments of shared DNA is fairly low.

thank you and I agree that the odds are reduced at 7 generations. However I have credible connections at 8 gens and ancestry advertises that there testing can find up to 8 gens. I would hope wiki might weight the benefit of showing 8 gens as possibles to allow the users themselves to do chromosome and segment comparison.
