George and Abigail Darrow

I am looking for info on George and Abigail (Littlefield) Darrow.

George 1760- 1816?

Abigail 1763-1848

They were married in York ME 1787.

The records for them are mixed up with another Capt. George Darrow who moved to PA. And another Abigail.

This George was a Sgt, Lt, then Captain in Revolutionary War (Mass Infantry Col Woodbridge Regiment then either Col Michael Jackson's Regiment or Col Cobb's Regiment). .  He was born in New Caanan, CT. After the war he settled in Castine ME.

Abigail is the Daughter of Captain Peter Littlefield. Her grave marker is totally wrong as to birth and death. She is buried in Waldo County, ME.

They had several children including Margaret (m. Whitney), Elizabeth (m. Noyes), Harriet (m. Dolliff), Palmer (father of James Cornelius) and perhaps a George.

I can't put them on Wiki as I am working backwards to see if the possible George Littlefield is my Great Great Grandfather.

Abigail and a lot of records are on FamilySearch M6FV-HNP.

Back when the Littlefield newsletter was active, someone asked a questions about them so I am hoping someone knows this family.

thanks,

Bill

Thanks Frank, that is the family. I'm trying to find all their children, especially if there is a George.

William,

Abigail could not have died in 1748 as in the question.

Do you have the birth year, marriage year and or death year for James Cornelius Darrow? Same question for Palmer Darrow. Can you say where James and Palmer were at the time of birth, marriage and or death? My guess is York, Maine, but you may have a more accurate location in mind.

If there was another son, George, would you have a time frame within which he was likely to have been born?
Palmer born 1807

James Cornelius Darrow b 1826

George would have been born approx 1800

Most of them would have been born in York ME probably Castine.

I fixed Abigail's dates.

thanks,
