Our goal for the Spring Clean-a-Thon is to clear out as many database suggestions as possible. To make it fun we're having teams and competing to see who can clear out the most.

It will be going for 72 hours straight, April 21-23. We're including Monday so that those who are busy on the weekend can still participate.

you MUST go to the top and ANSWER instead of comment for it to count.
Team 811 really needs members! Since we're not location specific, you can work wherever you feel comfortable working. We will be cleaning up post merge profiles that have duplicate sections, like Sources & Biography. It's a thankless job but makes the tree so much better.

Please consider our team when making your choice!

Is there a timetable for live hangouts available yet?
well the spreadsheet live chat is always active if your email is entered.
Teri Taylor has agreed to  be my co-captain instead of Don Crum he turned me down so put Teri Taylor as my co-captain

So add her to the leader list on Team Tennessee Volunteers
Team Tennessee Volunteers, please. The first time I've gone this far East, but as my sainted ancestors relentlessly pushed westward, my ""in-depth" research pushes eastward. (And also, Tennessee asked me if I'd join.)
You must put this as an answer instead of a comment.
Yes, Dorothy please put as an answer. Also, Team Tennessee is all full now. But we would love to have you on Team Roses. :-)
Dorothy my team is full but we can use in the fall for the source-a-thon. Sorry about that But I hope you will join us for the fall source-a-thon. We would have loved for you to join us but we are full. Maybe you can go to another team nearby that isn't full.

Don't forget the Merry Moppers!  We are a general team, working on what, where, who we want!  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Merry_Moppers

by Victoria Pless G2G1 (1.1k points)

Victoria, you are welcomed to join Anywherers, the anywhere/anywhen team that the member sets their own goals and works at their own pace.

also has a g2g chat page

We still have plenty of room on the Nor'Easters as well. We concentrate in that area but it isn't a requirement.
Team Tennessee Volunteers has room for you and would like to invite you to their team. They are wonderful team to work with.

Thank you. I would love to join your team as I'm new at this and it looks like the easiest way to learn.
I forgot to add, this weekend may be hard for me as we are expecting an ice storm that will knock out our power, but if it misses us, I will work on this.
Sorry, Anywherers

Victoria, Thank you for choosing ANYWHERERS! This page will have information about getting started. We also have a g2g chat

I will sign up for the Musty Dusty team, but I have several other things going on that weekend, so may not contribute many hours.

Yes, I would love to participate!  Please register me for team Anywherers II.

Thanks!

Laura

I think there is only 9 so far. There might not BE a II

Hi Laura, I agree with Steven when he says that there will most likely only be a Team Anywhere’s this year and not a I and II. The count that I see for your new team, I hope they treat you right and you enjoy it, is currently 13 not including you. If I were you I would reference your team g2g post (https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/581159/team-anywherers-spring-c-a-t-2018-chat) for any current list of team mates and team members. Plus this is where you can ask any questions you have or chat to your team mates too.

Can’t wait to compete against you, Amanda

You now have the badge for Spring Clean-a-Thon 2018. Thanks for joining!

Laura, I am glad you registered for ANYWHERERS.

Steven and Amanda:

It's clear that based on your OPINIONS, you don't know me very well. I have some very loyal team members and it is for that reason that as long as I am alive and able to WikiTree I will be here for them. Involvement in WikiTree helps me deal with the daily pain I endure. If I were a quitter I wouldn't even be on WikiTree.

Sorry, I misread the post.

ummm, what did that have to do with having over 30 members???????? We never said there wouldn't be a TEAM! So if you took that as an insult I think you were just a little off the mark.

(btw, had so much faith in your team I got a tab done for you)
Laura, Jody Rodgers and Amber Brosius from Anywherers II have also joined our team for SCAT. There's still time maybe more will show up.

Want to participate in CLEAN A THON. Both me and my husband can work Tennessee, West Virginia, Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania and/ or Ohio. Wherever we are needed.  Husband is new to this.  So will be training.

Maybe you one or both of you would like to join Tidying Tornadoes? Out of the states you listed we cover Missouri and Ohio.
The Dust Busters would love to have you on our team!
Team 811 would love to have you! We are a small team and need folks to join!
They has told me that they will  work with Team Tennessee Volunteers. They are taken.

Hi! Team Virginia's co-leader focuses on West Virginia, and Kentucky researchers are welcome too. We'd love to have you and your husband join us. See the list of teams [here]. See the 2018 Virginia Spring Cleaners page [here].

I'll get you a badge is a sec.

Cheers, Liz (the other Team Virginia co-leader :D)

P.S. your husband will need to post a separate answer so that he can get a badge also.

edit - well, not edited, but a correction. You'd said Kansas, not Kentucky. D'oh! It's been one of those days! But Team Virginia works on all kinds of profiles (a couple of us will be working on clearing suggestions for Magna Carta profiles).

sorry Linda - I didn't read your post closely enough... I had just checked that Teri hadn't posted a decision. Didn't consider she'd have contacted you directly.

Cheers, Liz
Everyone and Liz before they registered they told me that they are going with my team Team Tennessee Volunteers so back off. They are on my  team.
Okay, let's keep it friendly :)
Sorry but I thought I made my self clear I was just frustrated and I have had a bad week here in the Barnett household. But I will keep it friendly.
Don’t worry all it is so nice to be wanted !    We will go with team Tennessee as Linda contacted me first.   Sorry for any misunderstanding.   We just want to start getting more involved as we both now are retired !!!    Looking forward to next week.   Let me know Linda if I can do anything to help!
Linda contacted EVERYONE first. Even the ones I contacted before she did. LOL Tennessee errors are going to be GONE the first day. :P
