Any existing projects for a pre-1700 Italian monk/inventor?

Hi, I'm creating my first pre-1700 profile and I want to make sure I'm doing it right!

I started a profile for the Sirtori family name project (my grandma's last name, and my first project!). The oldest Sirtori I found is the astronomer -or rather telescope enthusiast- Girolamo Sirtori (Hyeronymus Sirturi / Sirturus in Latin), a Jesuit monk from Milano, Italy.

How do I make sure I'm covering all possible projects related to this profile?

Many thanks for your help!

The drop-down menu has a direct link to the Projects Help Page, which has a list of all the projects.

You'll probably want to check the Italian Roots Project to see if Girolamo's profile would fit there. You may also want to check the One Name Studies and One Place Studies.

For occupations, you should check the Categories category.

The above links should help you get started, Yisela!

Thank you Lindy! I will check them!
Seems notable.  But no Wikipedia page, not even in Italian.
