New info is being rejected as they say they are both living and dead, why

Can you provide the profile ID where this is happening?

Maybe what happened is what happened to me the other day?  Someone in my tree passed away.  When I went to enter the date of death I got an error message:

Error: Invalid data. The following must be corrected:

1. This person has data indicating they are both living (Active WikiTree User, Death Date 'still living', Death Place 'still living') and not living (Death Date 2018-04-11).

You need to deselect the radio button beneath the death date that says, "still living"

where is a radio button at moment do not see it.

It's literally just beneath the field where you would enter the date.

Thank you for replying.  I was trying to enter George Edward Roper's wife (my aunt) into the file as she died in Feb.  I also tried entering their son's name as he died a few years back. Also Aunt Lillian's parents names.  I only have their names and her siblings names no other information.  Than I tried to enter my great grandmother's parents and he was still living also!

I will try again later and see if I can make progress.  I only noticed once one of the pages asked if living? The rest of time it didn't show "still living" but it still was rejecting the information.  Thanks for helping. Have a nice day.

I know about Window 10, meaning I haven't figured out what is so great about it.  Who has time?  You need either a birthdate or date of death to enter a profile.  If you don't know, try to make an educated estimate.  You can use the template {{Estimated Date}} and explain in the biography that you estimated the date by the age of her first child, or whatever reason.

and it usually works but today the computer was just giving me a hard time.

I just went in again to add my cousin, Aunt Lillian and Uncle George Roper's son. and I see where it is saying living under the death date

weird.  At moment can't see where to unlock this item.
