McManus, Shea, Morris - Newfoundland.
My 2+g-grandmother, Margerette McManus (McManus-2741) and her parents, Hugh McManus (McManus-2924) & Catherine "Kitty" Shea (Shea-1606), were shipwrecked off St. Johns, Newfoundland in 1847. They came from Scotland.  One of their rescuers was James Morris (Morris-19220), son of John & Mary Morris (possibly Morrissey), who later married Margerette. They emigrated to the U. S. in 1872.
