Marion, were the issues commented on by RJ resolved? This was set as an unmerged match 14 Apr 2018 due to issues with the children. The spelling of the last name would also need to be resolved, and there are no sources on either profile.
I created an unmerged match to create a connection, not to block a merge.

My message [PS now deleted] was only trying to say there's a missing generation in the Visitation book.

According to Ormerod, Piers had 3 sons by his wife, and 3 daughters, and 3 more of each who weren't hers, though we aren't told whether she was his wife at the time.

Actually this might explain why the Visitation pedigree drew a discreet veil over that generation.

But it's dangerous to quote Ormerod without consulting Helsby's "2nd edition".
Thank you for that clarification RJ. Which spelling is correct?
They hadn't decided yet.
I believe that this merge should take place.  There needs to be only one profile, not two. Then some should correct the remaining profile. I am 88 yrs old and really not interested in researching any more to the depth that others are doing.

There was no profile manager for DAniels-433 so I signed up to manage this profile along with the profile for Dniel-2917.  I went to the source listed by RJ but I couldn't see what RJ was referring to.  Maybe RJ should complete his research rather than holding up the merge.

The info that RJ refers to by Ormerod is identical to that in King, Daniel et al “The History of Cheshire : Containing King’s Vale-Royal Entire... 1778,  p.807. https://books.google.com.au/books?id=4ntbAAAAQAAJ&pg=PA807 and Biographical history of the family of Daniell or De Anyers of Cheshire, 1066-1876, 1876, pp.22-3.

A brief look at this family shows there are more duplicate profiles eg https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Leicester-11 and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Leycester-1 who are both married to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Daniell-484

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wilbraham-65 and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Wilbraham-18

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Daniel-2914 and https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Daniell-71

There are numerous dates inconsistent among the duplicate profiles and the texts previously cited.

The England Project would be happy to take this mess on if no-one objects.
