Is there a chat site for Team Oz 2018?

This is the team page link:  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Team_Australia%27s_Official_Clean-a-Thon_Page

Hi Everyone,

Before we start I do have a question - why is there such an emphasis on Find a Grave. I thought this was more an Ancestry site.  I have always used  Australian Cemeteries Index.

In asking that I was going to work on  Missing death location 561, all years.  BUT please note my new nickname is tangent, so who knows where I am going to end up.
Hi Rionne,

I think there's a specific error code to Find-A-Grave entries, and that may explain the emphasis.  (Find-A-Grave was also recently acquired by Ancestry.com, IIRC... I guess they want to make it the go-to site for indexing cemeteries)

I also don’t use Find-a-grave much, as many of my rellies died in WA I use http://www.mcb.wa.gov.au/

Well done to all of Team Australia
We managed to correct a total of 1067 corrections.
Many thanks to you all for your efforts

To everyone around the world a big thankyou to you all with congrats to Team Roses for their effort

To anyone who chalked up massive numbers - go and get some sleep

Cheers Roger

Thanks very much for setting up this thread, Deborah!  I will let the organisers know so they can put it on the official page.

EDIT... nevermind, it's already done!  You guys are on top of things!  :-)

Deborah, I'm afraid that the link that you have posted here loops back to this G2G question, rather than the promised chat page. Could you please try again?
Hi John

This is the chat link - all we need to do is comment or reply on this link

Later today I will be contacting all team members with the link for the chat and the Aus errors link
Hi Deborah, could you do us a favour?  Since you originally started the chat thread, could you edit the top post and put our team page link in the section where it says "WikiTree ID/URL if this relates to a person or free-space profile".

That way, the chat link will appear on the team page and vice versa.

Thanks very much!

Greetings to all volunteers of Team Australia for the Clean - a - Thon.

The Australia error list can be found here
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/DBE_ErrorList_AUS

The Team Oz chat link can be found here
https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/595569/team-oz-2018-clean-a-thon-chat

May I suggest that you advise on the chat link which categories of error/years you will work on - saves members time if they come across errors already completed.
You may like to check your own error list first.

I will be online during Australian Central Daylight time hours for Saturday - Sunday - Monday and possibly evenings. Any queries feel free to contact me via private message

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Davey-570.

You can also use the chat page

I will start on 811 Uncleaned profile after merge 1800-1899 - concentrating on South Australia and adding sources where required
I’ll work on all the years 1500-1799 profiles.
I will start on 'Biography' errors (800s excluding 811) and then move on to 'Location' errors (600s).
I will work on the Find-A-Grave errors, starting with 571.
Morning all in Australia

Many thanks for your work Saturday

We may not be big in numbers but profiles have less errors

Cheers Roger
All S.A. 811 done - for a break starting on all 631
Now doing 831 multiple duplicated lines
John Rosser - well done on your 300 plus efforts and to all that made Wikitree cleaner thankyou for all your work. A few hours left to finish time.

Cheers Roger
