Documentation of Parentage of Robert William Knowles 1585-1613

Question

I am desperately looking for documentation that Robert William Knowles 1585-1613 was the son of Sir Francis "The Younger" Knowles and Lettice Barrett.

Frederick Lewis Weis "Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists Who Came to America before 1700" Eighth Edition covers Sir Francis Knollys c. 1510-1514 - 1596 marrying Lady Catherine Carey (Line 1:36).

Sidney Lee "Dictionary of National Biography v:XXXI (1892) pp278,279 gives the children of Francis and Carhering (Carey) Knollys and of them is Sir Francis "The Younger" knowles who married Lettice Barrett.

It is this couple I am trying to document as the parents of Robert William Knowles 1585-1613 but am having no luck.

If any one can help, I'd truly appreciate it.

Hi - Dont know if this will help.  A family of desendants from the Konollys' maintains a webaite with some information, but they don't mention any sources.  Still, it seems to be an active website, so they might respond with some help.
