Mary Marshall married George Wynn in St. Louis Missouri. She died young leaving my Grandmother to be sent to an Orphanage then Uncle. Possibly to Illinois. Mary Marshall's death possibly  1881-1889? Can't find death cert of mother, a possible sister in-law Mary Wynn (older) but not Mary (Marshall) Wynn  age. Not sure on the parents but I found parents of Irish decent in St. Louis where a Mary Marshall was in the household. of a

Thomas Marshall b.1823 possibly Tyrone Ireland d? last known St. Louis MO

Catherine Sandford b.1825 possibly Tyrone Ireland? Last Known living in St. Louis MO.

I have 2 possible same People in 2 census's in 1880 St. Louis MO. One taken probably later as in one household I  Geo I Wynn Maryland age 27 Father Ireland, Mother Massachusettes, Marshall Wynn Wife, Katie Wynn daughter b. Jan 1880 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M6N4-1ZK?from=lynx1&treeref=M5RH-6CQ

Then 1880 George Wynn age 27 b. Maryland wife Mary Wynn  (NO CHILD possibly died? or two families?)  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M6FR-CB3?from=lynx1&treeref=M5RH-6CQ

My Grandmother was born Jan 7 1881 in St. Louis MO but no birth record. I have added the parents of George Wynn and Mary Marshall because it fits to what happened. George was away at war and came back an Invalid. and could not care for his daughter. Family has no history except Mary Elizabeth Wynn was born 7 Jan 1881 no birth record due to fire to prove family. I would like to help to get ahold of the link of George Wynn and Mary Marshall (Parents) (and the Irish connections with these). Proof  mt DNA is coming up with 2 at 0 GENS both the mt Line is: from early 1800's are from Ireland, also 2 at 1 Gen difference both 1800 parents are from Ireland. I need to connect Mary Elizabeth Wynn to parents of George Wynn and Mary Marshall to be certain my connection of the two, what is best, This has been a long search of weeding out  this or that to come to this conclusion and parents of Mary Marshall. That was the 2 that were born in Ireland with the name Marshall and Mary Marshall in the home.

It's driving me crazy lol mtDNA just verifies the Irish connection, no names are a match, some are in Indiana before Ireland and some in Pennsylvania. Gallagher 1830's b.Ireland, Mcdonough 1903 Indiana Possible Ireland  Drury  1840 Ireland. Maloney Indiana b. family Claire Co. Ireland early 1900's he doesn't know family tree.

sorry so long, Burned Birth Certificates is so hard to prove this birth and parents and needs more info! Thanks

Sorry, that was 1900 Census I found Mary Winn (Not Mary Marshall Wynn) but my Great grandmother who ran away from uncle after her mom dying. Can't find moms death, 1881-1900  b. 1880 in Chicago IL  a servant to another family.. The head of household was  a machine parts manufacturer, which leads me to believe that is how she met my Great Grandfather buying parts.

Mary Marshall does not have a middle name that I found.

Daughter Mary Elizabeth Wynn b. Jan 7 1881, older sister, Katie Wynn b.Jan . 1880  d. 1880 before second census?  or second identical family in 1880 Census?

No Mary Marshall would be my Great Great Grandmother and I did not find any records with a middle name. No records except the marriage to George in St. Louis and a census but there are many Mary Marshalls I think 10 age 10 in 1860 deductions brought me to Catherine and Thomas because both born in Ireland, white and child Katie for mother  (Catherine) Yeah, I think the deduction there was the census of Mary and George or Marshall Wynn and Geo I Wynn I will have to look one said both her parents were born in Ireland? I hate those things. My Great Grandma just said her parents were British and I don't know if she was just guessing by an accent or what age her parents left her life.. :(  She seemed to remember the orphanage and the Uncle with 2 daughters who didn't do any work. (That is why she ran away) I found one of the Wynn's brothers had 2 daughters. in Illinois. which is also why I think the Mary Winn b. 1880 in Chicago (1890 Census) is my Grandma Mary Wynn and other reasons.. though not with family a servant she might have lied as she ran away from home. suppose suppose I hate stories, that is why I am throwing out so much .. I asked about her heritage  saying my dads family was in Scotland and where was her family from? I was 7, thank goodness for curious 7 year olds cause no birth record on her! lol British doesn't tell me much though found one of Georges parents born in The Brittish colonies which later census said Massachusetts hmm how can one family be so difficult! lol I know.. that birth cert that burned would have been so helpful!

NO parents listed on the marriage cert. thank you. yeah.. No birth record or listing of (parents) anywhere.  fire. :( one of those.

My Great Grandmother Mary Elizabeth Wynn is found only after 1900 census and everything found in California. No problem on Mary Elizabeth Wynn, after 1900. found all in Los Angeles. Just the Mary Marshall, George as parents (George injured in war, need death of Mary Marshall Wynn dates St. Louis MO? Possible Illinois 1881-1900?  as her daughter is gone. birth. of Mary Marshall date of the correct Mary Marshall I have the years from census 1858-1860.) listed 1859.
