I'm taking the wild chance that someone with an interest in, and access to Quayle genealogy will see this. There is a hole in my family tree that I have been unable to fill beyond my great grandparents on my fathers mothers side. I know that Emma Quayle was born on the Isle of Man, allegedly in or around Douglas, circa 1860. She would have emigrated before age 35, as she is on record as having married in South Africa sometime before 1895, to Charles Arthur Cussworth, about whom I have even less info, only that he was born at Milnesbridge, Yorkshire, England. Their children born in South Africa : 1895 Elizabeth Gertrude*, 1896 Gladys Evelyn, 1897 Douglas Arthur, 1899 Leopold Guy, all surnames Cussworth. She died in South Africa circa 1950. (* my grandmother, who married Charles Arthur Baxter, South Africa, 1917)
Googling all permutations of the above info draws a blank. Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
