merging profile error

Question

Trying to merge two profiles together however once checking all information is correct and trying to proceed the merge will not happen stating

Error: Invalid Data. The following must be corrected

1. Permission Denied

Can anyone assist on what this means and how to merge the two profiles?

You have linked to your own profile in the question Tori. Which two profiles were you trying to merge?

The privacy levels for both profiles needs to be open before you can complete the merge, even if it states that it is in default approval.

Your next step will be to put in a "Trusted List Request", if you do not get a response from the profile Managers involved you the do an "Unresponsive Profile Manager Request" and someone on the Wikitree team will complete the merge in due time.
