I See other of the children in the record (Hoes) but not Cornelia - and why the double list of children in the bio?

The Roeloff you refer to does not have the info relevant to your question.

Maybe you meant this Roeloff Swartwout?

oh whoops!wrong tab, had looked at rejected match! - never wiki before coffee!

sorry

Well, without your post I would probably never have come across "The Swartwout Chronicles", fascinating reading and amazingly well sourced on the 17th century Dutch ancestors.

So: thank you!

they are an interesting batch of folks and I have some of that here that I had printed out years ago and it is wonderful, glad you like it and you are quite welcome!

Looking at the profile Jan identified (thanks!):

I do find his daughter Cornelia in Hoes. She's number 81, on page 6. The double date given for her one place in his profile is an error, as New Netherland used the Gregorian calendar.

Those two lists of children look like relics of some of the multiple profiles that were merged to create the current profile. The two lists are not identical. Research is needed to figure out where they originated and to find evidence to determine which children and other data are likely to be correct..

on it.  Had started a list of who I did see, was looking for her in 1663, so I was looking at one mistake already, will pin this down, whatever evidence is there
So far in Hoes I have:

Antoni 8 Jan 1662

Antoni 11 May 1664

Cornelia 13 May 1667

Barnardus 26 Apr 1673

and then the grandaughter witnessed by Roelof

Ifje 28 Apr 1689 - child of Hendrick Klaes (van Schoonhoven) and Cornelia Swartwoudt

looking into different sources
Wow - aaaand here it is a month later!  where does the time go?  So got all into the Swartwout chronicles again and never got back to this yet - then there was a call for merges - the PGM folks needed sourced and so on - ok where did I put those notes?  someone else is working on this family too I saw so maybe I can get this better now
well I messed with the family for quite a while, still not sure about  the children, but some work complete on those in family, still researching
Thanks for your continuing efforts, Navarro!
well I am trying but I go from the fascinating stories on the Swartwout Chronicles to the very boring wills where I had hoped to find an up to date family list but none so far - the wills are pretty snoozy so I am going to take a walk then fix the children of her mom - they are there, but not on her bio, so I can fix that at least - I think maybe a research not telling which are documented and which are iffy is in order - or should I put it in a public comment?  Hmm perhaps both
ok we have a big mess here!  all of Eva (Aberts) Bradt's children have two profiles -  and it will take a while to merge the at least 30 profiles into the fifteen children she had as most of these are PPP !

I will start with the de Hooges as they came first and then when we have those all fixed I will start the Swartwout batch - wow I guess the merges did not get finished when she was merged and two batches remain - now my work week starts so it will not be as quick as I would like it - but it will be done and fixed

Alberts-585 - see the regular listings then the ones down in the biography - all different!
oh ok they are merged I just need to edit or remove those links
