My great grandfather, Alexander Zelkirk Johnson, had a brother , Henry

Clay Johnson, BD-8-23-1847. perhaps the brother was named after

your relative. Their father was Charles A. Johnson, and his father was

Levi (B.1780), Levi's father was Joseph, ( born mid -1700's) and Joseph's father was

Zadoc Johnson, an early settler of Patrick/Grayson/Carrol/ Russell Counties in VA.

Maybe this will provide some research info.
