Anybody want to adopt Samuel Gist? [closed]

Working on the Randolph Slaves in Ohio I ran across the Gist Settlements. . . Ohio African American Settlements founded when Samuel Gist freed his slaves when he died in 1816.  I did a quick profile for Samuel Gist and even found a letter he wrote to George Washington (Gist was an original member of the Dismal Swamp Land Company),

But, I can't keep him since I'm also attempting to create profiles for as many former slaves in Ohio that I can find and that could be thousands.  So, if anyone wants to take on this man who was an orphan, indentured himself to a Virginia Tobacco grower, became a Virginia plantation owner, returned to England, died a wealthy Londoner, and freed his slaves,  I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!!!!
Not being from Ohio originally, I see it as an awesome learning opportunity; a way to discover some of Ohio's history, in a way that is interesting to me; through family research. Thank you, for making the profile and posting here in G2G.
