The identification of Elizabeth, wife of Thomas Hyatt and later Cornelius Jones, is based on the 1633 will of John Russell, of Dorchester, in which he leaves half his estate to his brothers Henry Russell and Thomas Hyatt. In this era Thomas Hyatt could be a half brother, the brother of his wife, or the husband of his sister.
Anderson's Great Migration article on John Russell, makes no comments about a relationship to Hyatt. In John Hyatt's sketch, he points out that there is no evidence to connect Thomas Hyatt of the 1633 will, with the Thomas Hyatt of Stamford in 1641.
Jacobus' Families of Old Fairfield, mentions the will, acknowledging that he knew of it's existence, but calls wife Elizabeth Unknown.
Elizabeth Russell seems to have developed parents also John Russell and Anne Parks.
Are we ok changing this to Unknown.
Elizabeth has some alleged parents Anne Parks and John Russell. The John attached as her father is no doubt an error, (he didn't have an Elizabeth) and will need to be detached. OK?
