Pending merge won't go away [closed]

Question

On my Watchlist, under Pending Merges Initiated by me:

The first one (Tabitha Freeman) was completed months ago, but won't go away.

 

I tried rejecting it, merging again, pair matching, but all it ever says is the merge was completed.

 

It was completed. How do I make it disappear?

 

Magic word, please?

these happen from time to time, and it takes a sysadmin to fix it.

Are you pre-1700 approved.  I don't claim to be a guru with technology, but this may be the reason why.  We may need to retag this question.

Yes. The merge was completed with no problem. The reminder just won't go away.
