parents: John & Hannah Green. Mary’s parents were William & bridget Fitsimmons.witness: Alfred Willowby, Continental Tyre Co., Florence Gladys Watson, 5 York st, OpawaksCecil Green found as Employee Canada Census, 1891 birth:1888 Ontario residence:1891 Flamborough West, Wentworth North, Ontario, Canada. Which is were my grandfathers are from.Now Cecil Green Gender Male Age 3 Birth Year (Estimated)1888 Birthplace Ontario Marital Status Single Religion Methodist Province Ontario District Wentworth NorthDistrict Number128Sub-District Flamborough West. The age is correct abt: 27 years of age. As my family is from Flamborough looking at family members to see what link there may be.

When did a search for him and his wife Mary Bridget Fitzsimmons that was the closet link, it happens to be my family members.

Looking at the New Zealand BDM records at https://www.bdmhistoricalrecords.dia.govt.nz/Search suggests this would be the parents and siblings for the New Zealand Cecil Green:-

Marriage 1869 of Hannah Robinson and John Green

Likely births ( Fathers name John/Mothers name Hannah )

Mary Ann 1870

Ellen 1873

George Edmund 1878

Abel 1880

Wilfred 1886

Cecil 1888

 

Looking at the Canadian Online 1891 Census it shows your Cecil living with 32 year old Farmer Wesley Green and his 29 year old wife. As you mentioned all are Methodists and there are only the three occupants.

This would suggest they are two different families.
