How strange.  I just did it, and it worked for me.  What *exactly* were you trying to put in?  Maybe you tried to put in February 29th when it wasn't a leap year... :D

That's it! The date that Sue tried to add was 1807-02-29

The text of the profile shows Feb 28, 1807.
I must be blind.  I did not see the date!

Hello Sue.

1807 was not a leap year. There were no Feb. 29.
by Rubén Hernández G2G6 Pilot (828k points)
To be a leap year, the year must be divisible by 4. ex: 2016, 1964, 1800...
1800 is NOT a leap year. Whereas the divisible by 4 works in most instances, if it is divisible by 100 then it must be divisible by 400 to be a leapyear. 2000 was a leapyear, Tiny wrinkle but you know how we are here in WikiTree. lol

I stand corrected. official rule:

A leap year occurs every 4 years when divisible by 4; except when divisible by 100 it is not; except if divisible by400 it is. So 1800 and 1900 were not leap years; but 1804, 1808, and every four years up to 1928 were leap years.
