Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people?

This is a profile where incorrect or dubious parents and wives keep being added in based on poor data provided to connect a lot of people to a US President.   The profile is too far removed for protection from the US Presidents project.

1.) Geographical region and time period:   [1600s and Ireland]

2.) Some example names and dates:   [Woods.]

Perhaps the Irish Roots could protect this profile.

The dates don't work for he or his father to have been sent by a Stuart King .His  father at least appears to be English. If Sir John Andrew  was born in 1654 that was during the interregnum.
His father, if born in 1628, would have only been 20-21 when (1649), Charles 1 was beheaded and  Cromwell became Protector .Cromwell of course is known for his 'conquest of Ireland'

Burke's landed gentry vol 2  (not always the best of sources) has the father as John Wood esq ( no title) .The eldest son was a George who he states was born in Dec. 1637 (if correct then John Woods of Yorkshire  was not born in 1628 )
Is there any evidence that this son was a knight?( also middle name?)
Attempt at link, to Burke. It may not work and will be long as there seems no way to hide it when using a phone

Ireland seems perhaps a more appropriate project , perhaps one day there will be a sub project that covers this turbulent time in the Countries history.

What a shame RJ, before I went out, I discovered that Whiggish historians (presumably Burke was one) used the term English Revolution to refer to the Glorious Revolution, whereas I coming later (and steeped in EP Thompson and Christopher Hill) always  thought it referred to the Civil War. One learns something every day

(and  deleting the rest is a shame too)

It's not like anybody was editing any profiles or anything.

Personally I quit 5 times a day.
