Koenig and Konig (with and without umlat)

Question

I have adopted Koenig and Konig (with and without the umlat) without a death date born 1800 or later.  

I plan over time to find death dates for these.

Laura, right now I'm working on the Honig/Hoenig/Honek/etc. name and think there's a chance for some Konig type variants to sneak in there.  By all means, please let me know if you run into any of those.

H Gaile my Koenig line was from Appenweir in BW southern Germany.  

I have not seen any with the spelling that starts with H.  It was and is a small community.  

My cousin lives in Germany.  Where are your Honig etc line coming from?  I can ask her if she has seen that name.

Please contact me if possible.  This is a mess.  On my tree you will see documentation that profiles 72 448 and 5932 are the same person.  I have documents in German for the spelling.
