Where do these dates come from?

Question

Margaret Beaumont is supposed to have had a son, Edward Chichester born around 1496.

So if her mother was Thomasine Wise, she was born long before 1491.

The profile you sent a link to shows a birth date of 1472. Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, or someone fixed it I don't see the error. And clicking backward Thomasine Wise was born 1444.  Make sure the "before this date" radial isn't clicked. I get some errors and realize that I just used a known earlier date and clicked before date so I would have some clues as to when to look
